Information we collect
When you submit a form, we store the contact details, service details, business information, consent choices, and submission time you provide. If you are signed in, we associate your submission with your site account so you can view it later. We also store hashed network or account identifiers and submission counts to limit abuse. Job records may include a service address, quotes, approvals, appointments, messages, payment references and submitted reviews. Guest tracking links grant access to their associated job; protect them like a password.
How information is used
HVACMeet uses submissions to respond to inquiries, review contractor applications, review coverage for service requests, and maintain platform integrity. Records are available to the authorized owner through a protected dashboard. Customers can access their own signed-in requests or use a private guest tracking link. Matched and assigned providers receive only authorized job information for service coordination.
How requests are shared
For a selected provider request, you authorize sharing with that provider only. For Quick Match, you authorize sharing with no more than three suitable providers. Submitting a request does not create a public customer profile.
Business profiles
After approval, a contractor’s business name, introduction, coverage, service categories, license number, and review statuses may appear in the directory. The application contact’s email and phone are not included in the public directory.
Website measurement and optional analytics
We count public page views by path and broad referral channel, and record inquiry, registration, approval, booking and payment events. Basic measurement does not use advertising cookies or send contact details to Google. If optional Google Analytics is configured, it loads on public pages only after consent. You can reset the choice through your browser’s site storage settings.
Service providers and notifications
Hosting and identity are provided through the site platform. When configured, transactional email is sent through Resend and online payments use Stripe. Card information is entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout, not in HVACMeet forms. SMS and two-way calendar synchronization are not currently connected. Calendar and map links open the selected third-party service.
Storage and retention
Submissions are stored in the site’s hosted database. Account identity is handled through ChatGPT sign-in. Information is retained for operating the service and handling requests or disputes; contact us to request deletion or correction.
Your choices
To request access, correction, deletion, or a change to your contact permissions, email privacy@hvacmeet.com. Independent contractors have their own privacy practices once your information is shared with them.
